Paul Ashigbie, DrPH, is a pharmacist and public health professional with 15 years of experience researching and analyzing national and international health policies and practices, especially in the area of access to quality and affordable medicines. He has also worked in various fields of pharmacy practice including regulation, community and clinical pharmacy practice and industry in Ghana. He is currently an Associate Director, Global Health Disease Area at Novartis Biomedical Research, working in R&D strategy and directing initiatives to promote timely access to new medicines in developing countries.
