Dr. Nicaise Ndembi

As a virologist and public health expert, Dr. Nicaise Ndembi is applying his wealth of experience in molecular virology to coordinate and carry out quality laboratory research in HIV diversity, resistance to anti-retroviral therapy, genomics epidemiology, emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases amongst other areas. He has actively participated in several scientific advisory panels and as an advisor to Nigeria’s Federal Ministry of Health on HIV drug resistance and control policy. Dr. Ndembi is also an Associate Editor for Frontiers in Public Health and Section Editor for the African Journal of Laboratory Medicine.
