Dr. Jean Claude Mugunga

Dr. Jean Claude Mugunga is a pioneering global health leader with over 15 years of experience devoted to transforming healthcare systems across Africa and globally. He holds a medical degree from the University of Rwanda and a Master of Science In Global Health Policy and Management from Brandeis University. Throughout his career, Dr. Mugunga has had a profound impact on public health policy, particularly through his work with Partners In Health, where he has been leading efforts to strengthen primary care systems and achieve universal access to health services in underserved communities. Currently serving as the Managing Director of Research and Programs at Partners In Health, he spearheads the organzation’s Research, Policy, Health Financing and Advocacy initiatives, to advance the movement of health equity globally.
