Building Sustainable Systems: Health Financing and Innovation for Africa

The event offers a unique opportunity to highlight transformative research and strategies aimed at advancing health financing and systems across Africa. Organized by the Harvard Chan Africa Health Students Forum in collaboration with the Harvard Medical School/Harvard School of Dental Medicine Africa Health Student Club, the competition seeks to spotlight research and innovative ideas that can reshape healthcare on the African continent.

Under the theme “Building Sustainable Systems: Health Financing and Innovation for Africa,” this competition highlights the importance of research originating from and about Africa. It aims to showcase researchers whose work can influence policy and improve equitable health outcomes. This year’s theme seeks to inspire change and foster accountability in enhancing healthcare delivery across the continent while emphasizing the vital role of research and innovation in transforming Africa’s health systems for a sustainable future.
